flakey meaning it may take a few tries to connect with sftp (there is a sshfs entry in fstab for this one) (using ssh key pairs) when using a password it sometimes connects and even keeps asking me to enter a username / password even if already connected also if the password is incorrect it will let me reenter it but will not acknowledge the new login. the system i am connecting to logged too many incorrect login attempts (attempts to login with password don't contain such entry in fstab instead using sftp://). it worked as expected a month ago as to how i came to my conclusion a had a system that was not updated for about a month and after updating all but the 4 pacages it still worked correctly after also updating the 4 pacages it broke and after downgrade started working it is weird since none of the pacages are listed as a dependency.

Hello,

If you have a SSHFS entry in fstab, then it shouldn't be Dolphin
handling the SFTP aspects?
(Dolphin plugin should be involved only when using "remote places" or
"sftp://" in dolphin)

On my side, I had general SSH key/passwords issues few months ago,
following a switch to sid.
At some point it worked better disabling GSSAPIAuthentication
(NFS/Kerberos in the loop)…
until I noticed I had wrong permissions set on my ~/ & ~/.ssh/ folders!

Hope this helps, good luck.

Vincent
