Dear Maintainer,
Please update kwave to the recent upstream version
(24.12.1 at the time of writing).
KDE resumed developing this tool so it would be good
to have a more recent one in the repo:
https://invent.kde.org/multimedia/kwave/-/commits/master?ref_type=HEADS
