Package: urjtag
Severity: wishlist

Dear Maintainer,

Since urjtag debian packages are really old I've invested some work in debian packaging.

I tried to get the already started packaging in
https://salsa.debian.org/electronics-team/urjtag
to work, but it failed since upstream git has the sources in a subdirectory
and the released tarballs differ from the git tag.

So I decided to base a new git packaging repo on tarballs only:
https://salsa.debian.org/ckreidl/urjtag
Keeping up with new versions should be straight forward.

Please feel free to copy the repo to electronics-team.

Thanks!
Christian

Hi Geert,

the package urjtag came up as candidate for the Bug of the Day[1] and so
I had a look into this package. I realised you have injected it into
the Pkg Electronics team which is great since one goal of the Bug of the
Day idea is to move packages into sensible team spaces on Salsa.

Since we had two competing repositories on Salsa I deciced to move the
one from Christian to the electronics team space[2]. (Christian, you
might like to remove your clone.) It was basically ready, had most of
the bugs fixed and I uploaded with Christian as changelog owner too
reward him as the maintainer who fixed the bugs.

Kind regards
Andreas.
