Package: wnpp
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-CC: debian-***@lists.debian.org

Hello,

I intend to orphan the php-horde-core package and ALL the php-horde*
packages. I'm not using them anymore.

There are a few stability fixes to backport to stable (#839129,
#931255 #880380, #935816).

There is some tooling to ease package update and upload.

I won't create a bug for each of those 123 packages [1], but I will
ask for the removal of those packages if no-one comes within the next
months.

The php-horde-core package description is:
These classes provide the core functionality of the Horde Application
Framework.
.
This package is part of Horde, a web application Framework written in PHP with
modules like IMP (webmail), Turba (contacts), Kronolith (calendar), Nag (task
list), Gollem (file manager), etc.

I use Horde on a daily basis as my company's groupware solution. So, I
am probably one of us DDs who absolutely is a candidate for taking over
your fabulous packaging work.

Is the packaging workflow documented anywhere? If not, or insufficiently
documented, would you be willing to provide/update such a documentation?
(Once I understand the workflow, I can help with that...).

Greets,
Mike

Hello Mike,

with this manual
https://salsa.debian.org/horde-team/tools/blob/master/README.md

I was successfully building horde packages 6 months ago.
If you want, you can add me to horde team.

Best Regards,
Juri Grabowski

Ah, thanks. Wasn't aware of that README. Will take a look at possibly
adopt the whole set of horde packages.

Greets,
Mike
